Draw or trace a pattern. Using a printer, you can enlarge / print to desired size.
Cut a body and legs. Begin padding feet & head with crumpled paper to shape. Then use Styrofoam blocks, cut to size for spacing to attach legs to body, hot glue in place.
Pad the entire body with crumpled paper held in place with masking tape to achieve desired form.
Use traditional paper mache to attach strips of paper over tape. Complete 3-4 layers allowing dry time between layers.
Cut small fur pieces from stiff catalog covers or card-stock to form layers of fur. Glue to body. I used paper mache clay for the snout, eyes and ears.
Paint the snout and other features. Cover entire project with decoupage sealer or artists varnish.
